As you all know, this year was our first year as a combined church to embark on a Faith Promise missions giving together. To be honest, I had my concerns about whether or not we would be able to reach our mark. In fact, I had communicated to one of our missions coordinators not to be discouraged if we came in a little under our goal this year. I had no way of knowing how we as a church would respond, considering that for half of us the idea of Faith Promise giving was a new concept. Anytime a church goes through change, it is hard to know how people will respond.

Thankfully, God’s power is greater than my faith, because He provided above and beyond what I expected. I think it bodes so well for our church that not only did we reach our goal for missions this year, but we exceeded it by more than $10,000, for a total of $105,440! I want to thank all who are participating in our missions giving. God is using you, not only to spread the gospel around the world through your giving, but also to encourage our leadership and our church. What a blessing it is to see us working side by side to exceed the goal that God had laid on our hearts! I am thankful to those who showed such faith to help us change lives around the world.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21

God definitely did more than we could have imagined through Faith Promise this year.  He is truly worthy of the glory!
